Felipe Benítez es un consultor de comunicación estratégica, especializado en América Latina. Cuenta con diez años de experiencia en el ámbito de la comunicación estratégica gracias a su trabajo para los Gobiernos de México y del Ecuador, el Centro por la Justicia y el Derecho Internacional (CEJIL) y ¡Excelencia! en el área de la educación. Actualmente, Benítez es parte del equipo de Public Affairs con sede en Washington D.C en la firma Ogilivy Public Relations Worldwide.
Benítez participó en las Conferencias COP en Copenhague y Cancún sobre Cambio Climático Global con el Presidente de la República y el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores del Ecuador para promover la Iniciativa Yasuní-ITT, propuesta del gobierno del país latinoamericano para proteger la selva amazónica.

Benítez también ha trabajado en proyectos que involucran esfuerzos de Social Marketing dirigidos a la comunidad latina en Estados Unidos a través de agencias gubernamentales federales como los Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS, por sus siglas en inglés) , los Institutos Nacionales de Salud (NIH), Administración sobre tercera edad (AoA) , el Departamento Estadounidense de Salud y Servicios Humanos (HHS), la Comisión Nacional de para la Seguridad del Tráfico en las Autopistas y la Agencia de Protección Medioambiental. Localmente, ha trabajado para el Concejo Metropolitano de Washington y para el condado de Montgomery en el estado de Maryland.
